Wavell State High School warmly invites prospective families for 2027 and beyond to attend our Programs of Excellence Parent Information Session and learn more about the specialised opportunities available to students with demonstrated passion, ability and commitment.

Where: Wavell State High School Performing Arts Centre
This session is designed for Year 5 and 6 students and their families who are interested in learning more about Wavell’s Programs of Excellence, including:
• Academic Excellence
• Dance
• Drama
• Music
• Netball
• Rugby League
During the session, families will hear from members of our leadership team and program coordinators about each program, the opportunities available to students and the pathways these programs provide. Information regarding the application process, talent identification opportunities and key dates will also be shared.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our school community and discover how Wavell supports students to pursue their passions while striving for excellence.
